New York City’s brassy and funky Lucky Chops will perform March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Baker University Center at OU. Currently on a tour of the U.S. and Canada, Lucky Chops’ music will have you hopping in the aisles.
The concert is sponsored by the Ohio University Performing Arts Series, Campus Involvement Center and the OU School of Music.
The same evening, at 8 p.m. , hear drummer and composer Patrick Simard of Ontario. Simard will present an eclectic performance of world music-infused numbers, influenced by a many of the notables Simard has played with from around the world, including Alejandro Sanz, Hal Crook and Hazmat Modine.
