Are you one of those university students who sits in your Athens Ohio rental uptown or elsewhere and agonizes over what you should really major in? One field that’s hard to beat these days is health sciences.
Colleges of health science professions have seen rapid growth in most universities, and OU is no exception, as more students look to the health sciences for a rewarding career helping others, as well as long-term stability in the job market. Health sciences offer many career paths, from health care practitioner to administrator and manager, researcher, information technology specialist, and many others.
Whether you’re already enrolled as a health science student, or are interested in exploring health sciences as a field, you might want to show up at OU’s College of Health Science and Professions Community Gathering on Friday, Sept. 10, at the Grover Center E234, Team-Based Learning Lab, 53 Richland Ave. Come and introduce yourself to key locals in the health science community, as well as OU faculty and administrators who may be able to give you helpful career advice.
