Didn’t get to see a showing about the four guys from Jersey who would climb to fame as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons because you were too young to be interested in musicals about singers from the 60s? Well, now that you’re so much more mature, you’ll have your chance on Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. when OU presents Jersey Boys in its National Broadway tour at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium, as part of the OU Performing Arts and Concert Series
The music may not be familiar to you, but you may find yourself singing along to such hits as Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man and Sherry. It’s music made for singing in the shower of your Athens two bedroom apartment or dorm room.
