Ohio University has made national news again, but the college’s President McDavis certainly isn’t celebrating. Playboy Magazine named OU the number 1 party school in the country in its listing of top party schools. OU has made the list four times, but failed to make the top 10 in 2014, and this is the first time it has led the party.
“HallOUeen” was mentioned as the primary reason for the honorary title, as were the 18 bars on Court Street. Bong Hill got an honorable mention.
“OU’s year-round antics are hard to trump,” the magazine said. “Athens is home to one of the country’s largest Halloween block parties. Court Street, which connects the campus to Athens’s dining district, is a barhopper’s dream: The tiny half-mile stretch boasts 18 bars.”
